Feel bad for George. Phenomenal goalie, but his shitty entitled team and management let him down big time
That 4-3 goal on its own was pretty terrible for what it was and the timing of it.

Will you stop posting GARBAGE. It doesn't matter whether he was falling. His head was rammed into the boards by an arm/elbow. Should at least be 2 minutes even if itm was an accident. The Canadian penalty wasn;t even a hit. it was just a collision.
my guy enough with the right wing dog whsitles. That’s what we get for bringing in woke european referees. Everything and anything is a penalty against Canada.
If thr IIHF wants to bring in these f***s its time for Canada and the US to make the woke IIHF non-existent by removing all funding.

It’s pretty u fortunate actually. With Demidov, Ryabkin, Silayev, etc the team would be the best it’s been in yearsCould you imagine what this teams W/L record would be if Russia was in this tournament?
Embarassing all around
Lmao we get it everything you don’t like is woke … was hoping the knuckle draggers would come up with a new buzzword in 2025That’s what we get for bringing in woke european referees. Everything and anything is a penalty against Canada.

Canada didn’t wake up the entire tournament. Both teams f***ing suckAnd yet Canada only managed three goals. Czechs owned the first period and Canada didn't even wake up till halfway through the game
What about a cup?
Getting beat short side high on a cross ice one timer is not being stopped by many.George sucked these last two games, imo. That game winning goal was a joke. Yeah, he was the best player on this dog water team, but he completely faded as the tournament progressed. No big saves today whatsoever. Deserved to lose, just like the rest of them.
It was near identical penalty that got Canada a PP goal to get within a goal. These are called 100% of the timeIt's not even the refs per se, the rules are just different.
Though I generally think IIHF refs are far better at calling games to the IIHF rules than NHL refs are at calling games to the NHL rules.
I can't wait to make you regret every word you uttered here, and the day will come........make sure you're around.
Don't be late for that show.
Bingo. Can I just point out the irony in HC selecting a whole bunch of checkers and penalty killers instead of offensive players, and they bomb out of the tournament on a PK?
Scrap the entire federation and start from scratch.
IIHF rules: Canadian kids play under the mistaken impression that hockey is tough, physical, game in which hitting is still allowed. European kids, on the other hand, are constantly jumping out of the way of hits and getting calls as a result. Still, doesn’t alter the fact that this Canadian team was sub-par.Are WJC games always penaltyfests? Feels like there are 20 penalties a game
Years of trash NHL reffing and rulebook has made it a thing, yes. Sad to see that it's so common now.Yep, NBA and soccer tactics have made their way into hockey. I've seen players constantly baiting refs in games I've been watching. Its definitely worked.
Cut the crap. Cze was not the better team lmao. The other teams were just better.
Congratulations to Czechia. They deserved to win.
Maybe next year.

Schaeffer before he got injured. No one expected a 17 year old to be their most dynamic defenceman.Aside from George, I'm struggling to name a single Canadian player that performed at or above their expected level.
They should have been told not to make hits because IIHF assholes don.t know what a penalty is.
