On the TSN broadcast who is the blockheaded idiot sitting next to Mr. Underbite? He really needs to be in the stands "ready to erupt" with all the other fans. Reminds me of the Leafs last coach with the giant fat head. If I had a giant dome like that I would grow my hair long and lose like 80 pounds.

I used to root for Canada against any team besides the US, but now I actively root for them to lose. I don't hate them like Penn State or the Penguins, but damn the arrogance is unbearable.

The first one you posted is much more of a backhand swipe than a deflection. If the PBP calls it as "batting it in" and the motion certainly matches it to my eye, it's not really a deflection or tip-in.

The second one looks more lucky than very intentional but they don't ask how, they ask how many.

You like them both more than the Martone deflection, that's fine. I literally called it "pretty" as in "aesthethically pleasing" and I certainly don't think either counterexample as being pretty. You might, and that's fine with me.
Fair. It was a throwaway comment anyway. I disagreed and felt like saying it. If you found it impressive and I don't there's nothing wrong with that. Enjoy the rest of the game.

Mike Johnson? He's fine. Being a bit of a homer tonight. Not a big deal.

You can't tell me you'd rather be listening to EJ Hradek.

I thought the end of that 2nd period was very encouraging actually. The PP was playing the way they should, getting pucks on net.. and Cameron seems to have figured out that McKenna is central to offensive success, and even gave Akey a few shifts. Maybe we’re finally going to figure it out

Hoping for a CZE win because of selfish reasons. I rather take FIN-SWE than FIN-USA rematch. I feel like Sweden would be easier for Finland.
