I hate the Rangers as an isles fan but man Bret Berard has the look of a guy that will have a long solid nhl career as a bottom 6 guy. I’ve been really impressed with him all tourney.

Its not so much the goalie that’s the difference. In the NHL the opposing dman would have likely flattened him the second he came out from behind and tried the shot. Here, the damn was 1-2 steps slower

It's completely stupid that he dropped all the way to the 5th round. There's no way he should even have dropped to the 3rd. I was yelling at my monitor for someone to draft him as the 3rd round started.

For as much love as Berniers/Boldy get. The second line hasn’t produced 5on5 for over 2 games now. 3rd line has been huge tonite saved ass of US top lines lack of production.

I’m not sure the US can keep advancing without the second line.

Turcotte loses yet another draw, yeah I reiterate my position that I just don’t see the high end upside with him. Certainly not as an undersized centre who has no real elite skillset to counter it.

He’s got a good work ethic and it makes you want to like him as a player but just not seeing a top 10 talent with him.
