Both the Germans and Czechs made their games closer than expected. US just have to bring their A game. I’m sure the Slovaks will be putting in a solid effort.

Canada can win without Cozens going off, USA is pretty reliant on Zegras right now since 2nd line hasn't done much and theres a slug on line 1 with Turcotte and Zegras. I am hoping for big games from Boldy, Caufield and Kaliyev.

If the Slovaks play the way they played Switzerland or Canada, I like the Slovak's chances. That was some really solid defense. If they play this one like the other games, it could be a blowout. Slovakia should normally get better goaltending so if they can get back to playing solid defense, this one could be interesting.

I’m a Team USA fan, so I’m hoping for the latter, even though Zegras will play for a Sharks rival. Go go go Zegras/USA!!!

Simon Latkoczy may very well be the best goaltender in this tournament...so 9 goals against would require a very very bad night from him or the team in front of him...unlikely.

My money is on a low scoring affair here. There's the off chance of another casual Slovak game but I expect them to be ready for a quarter final. I think all the posters predicting 6+ goals for the US are out to lunch.
