Are you saying Heinola didn't get the puck in before the deke on which he got the puck to blue line? No, it was a clear offside... TSN showed a replay which left no doubt and it was by a wide margin.
Sweden seems like such a Jekyl and Hyde team... They can look great and they can look bad
All we ever saw on a replay was that seemingly Heinola had never entered the area at all.
Not sure what to say other than there is one angle that TSN showed that clearly demonstrates the offside... the other angles were not very conclusive. But Heinola had already brought the puck into the zone before that and I did not see it exiting, the replays did not show that part.
They showed the entire play. The player was clearly in the zone before the puck came into the zoneThey didn't show the play before the puck crossed the line.
I think this might be a coaching problem. It looked like they wanted to shut the game down too early...They are bipolar.
Offside not closeThey showed a different angle on TSN from near the blue line. It was 100 percent offside. Happened when the player made an extra little cut at the line.
Then why are people saying it was offside? It was clearly onside.Bringing the puck over the line* is the thing that makes it ok to cross. If the puck hasn't crossed over, you can't have a player over. That's how it's been for like since the offside was brought into the game.
No he wasn't? What are you even looking at?The finish forward was already in the offensive zone by at least a foot when Heinola entered the zone...
That's what I thought too as soon as I saw the replay, I had no idea what the Finnish player-turned-commentator Osala was shouting about, he mentioned that the puck was already onside before the dekes and was visibly confusedThey showed a different angle on TSN from near the blue line. Yeah, the offside happened before Heinola entered the zone... nothing to do with his dipsy-doodle at the blue line. Are you saying Heinola didn't get the puck in before the deke on which he got the puck to blue line?
where is the puck in that frame. They will show it in the intermissionThen why are people saying it was offside? It was clearly onside.

The guy is onside in this frame and Heinola is already bringing the puck back in this frame, the puck entered the zone before this frame. The puck never came out of the zone.
Oh ya he’ll get clipped again somehow. For sure!Another Raymond snipe coming your way.
