Agreed.. I'm fine with firing a few guys. Even this whole... you played in the NHL.. now you're a coach stuff is kind of stupid to me.

That Swedish kick to the balls needs to be a suspension.. brutal! Sik got a game for much less. Get that shit trending!

sorry.. got distracted... I was about to say. Next years team does look more competitive... not Top 5 but closer. Svozil, Kubicek, Has. Mysak, Pitlyk, Raska, Novak. Parik/Malik. good start in all positions. I don't think we'll lose anyone to the NHL.

Maybe we won't get major injuries in every game too!
 
Useless trivia:
After Sweden reached 5-0 in this tournament they've always "lost" the remainer of the game. 5-0 against Swiss became 5-2, 5-0 against Slovaks became 6-2 and 5-0 against Kazaks also became 6-2.

Lol about the kick to the nuts. The Swedish player got pushed, lost his balance and his leg went in between the legs of the czech player. It wasn't intentional, not with a lot of force and not a penalty. The czech slashings however..

I don't like the slashes either.. penalize them everytime. Not sure what the f*** they're thinking.

Canada has Laf back and he's the best player in the tourney IMO
Finn's have Sisu!
Swede's have been flawless.. just rolling along at a tremendous click

You could play the semi's 10 times and everyone would have a 5-5 record.

My bold prediction is that the Finn's get a medal of some colour.

I know it's cliche, but when it comes to the big 5 any one of them can beat anyone else on any given day. Even within the scope of a tournament a team can look flat and disorganized one game, and then turn it around and look like world beaters the next. It's impossible to call, and I can see all of the remaining teams taking gold if things go right.
