Nice that Lafreniere is looking good. It's good that McMichael has maintained the jump he showed against the Czechs as well. I'd like to see Byfield get one before the game ends.
He reminds me of Peter Forsberg.Whoever drafts Lafreniere is going to get a bonafide superstar. He does everything right out there. Even hits well too.
I have only seen Byfield in this tournament, but his game looks raw. You can see the skill, but will it translate to the pro game?
Maybe it is just being 17 in the WJC, I'd need to see more.
Laf has a pro game. His floor is high.
Gotta get through the Americans first.russiA vs. canada! going to be a hell of a rematch.
If there was other Canadians diving I might mention it. You are right, I really dont like him as a prospect.

Yup, Lavoie too as I really believe he can be a weapon. We need more credible offensive threats going.Nice that Lafreniere is looking good. It's good that McMichael has maintained the jump he showed against the Czechs as well. I'd like to see Byfield get one before the game ends.
I don't see that at all.He reminds me of Peter Forsberg.
I have posted quite a bit about McIsaac and Bahl as well. Correlation is that they dont move the puck well. Ahhh I see, you are an Avalanche fan.I believe there is a distinction between not liking a particular prospect and posting for days on end exclusively about Byram. It is strange, let's be honest.
Regardless of the rules, it was hardly his fault that the player bailed on the hit and put himself in a bad spot. Calling him "moron" was a terrible take, stop trying to justify it.It doesn't matter whose fault it is. In the IIHF rules if you catch the head and it leads to an injury it's still a major.
C'mon, we're beating Slovakia, worst team in the tournament.I think that 6-0 slaughtering to the Russians awoke a sleeping Canadian giant
I don't see that at all.
Yeah, he'll be fine -- or at least the lack of production this year shouldn't be a concern. Lafreniere didn't have much impact last year at WJ.I have only seen Byfield in this tournament, but his game looks raw. You can see the skill, but will it translate to the pro game?

Me neither. I see Hossa.

I think the comparison is closer yeah.Me neither. I see Hossa.
He moves it well if he makes the right read, he rarely makes the right read. He is the second coming of Jack Johnson, you can call me on this in 5 years. So Byram does not move the puck well? He is similar to Bahl?
Got it.
Crappy down the South ShoreIs TSNs feed absolutely garbage for anyone else or is it just in Halifax area?
