Nice that Lafreniere is looking good. It's good that McMichael has maintained the jump he showed against the Czechs as well. I'd like to see Byfield get one before the game ends.

I have only seen Byfield in this tournament, but his game looks raw. You can see the skill, but will it translate to the pro game?

Maybe it is just being 17 in the WJC, I'd need to see more.

Laf has a pro game. His floor is high.

It's solely an age thing. It's interesting because he's been more dominant in the CHL than a few of these 18/19 year players yet looks more out of place in this tournament than those very same players. The 17/18/19 year old years are so important for development.

If there was other Canadians diving I might mention it. You are right, I really dont like him as a prospect.

I believe there is a distinction between not liking a particular prospect and posting for days on end exclusively about Byram. It is strange, let's be honest.

Yup, Lavoie too as I really believe he can be a weapon. We need more credible offensive threats going.

I have posted quite a bit about McIsaac and Bahl as well. Correlation is that they dont move the puck well. Ahhh I see, you are an Avalanche fan.

It doesn't matter whose fault it is. In the IIHF rules if you catch the head and it leads to an injury it's still a major.
Regardless of the rules, it was hardly his fault that the player bailed on the hit and put himself in a bad spot. Calling him "moron" was a terrible take, stop trying to justify it.

Yeah, he'll be fine -- or at least the lack of production this year shouldn't be a concern. Lafreniere didn't have much impact last year at WJ.
