Czechs have really slowed it down... shots are about even. I didn't expect it to be his 'close' after 2 periods. I'm not expecting a miracle but am proud of the Czechs for making it a game.
I'm rather enjoying the reffing in this game. There's been some close calls but overall I feel like they haven't missed anything.

Czechs keeping Canada in the swamp during the 2nd period. If the Czechs score a goal, they're back in the game. They have to start skating though, really sloooow 2 on 1, skating like turtles.

I think the Czech are pushing the pace at times, this is the reason things look at the way they are.
The Czechs are actually playing not bad at all. So far they are able to stay focused, keep the game simple in their own zone, and play quite audacious when they get puck possession in Canada's zone. I expected the game to be already 5-0 or similar after the 2nd.

love Cozens but his long stick gives him a little too much confidence in his neutral zone stick checks. When he misses, he skates himself out of the play and creates odd man rushes the other way. That stuff will work better vs the Swiss than it will vs Russian or an NHL player.

Can you give me an example where they do that to a Russian player? They were doing that to Stutzle as well, and while he's good, there are plenty of Russian players of at least his skill level imo. He wasn't able to even deke out Russian defencemen, who aren't even considered that good.

Krebs has really emerged. I'd say he's been Canada's best forward other than Cozens.
I can't see this game staying 2-0. If Canada scores next then I imagine the Czechs fold. If the Czechs score then we could be in for a good one.
