So 3 games played out of 28 for Pezz. Surprised he hasn't asked for a trade yet. Maybe he did but you'd think a team would give even a late pick for him.

Asking for a trade doesn't achieve much, he isn't a regular roster player anywhere in the NHL. Asking to be traded so you could -maybe- play 5 games out the next 28 isn't worth the trouble.

5 out of 28 games would be 14/15 games and he's currently on pace for 8/9 games. I think another team may give him the chance to play from mid to late 20s.

He's not in a position to demand much, and he will get lots of games in close to the trade deadline when Armia and Dvorak are gone.

It would require a GM with a soft spot for Pezz for this to become a reality. The 31 other teams have someone able to be meh'ish for 7~8 minutes per game in their system already.

He was a good meme for a team crippled by injuries racing to the bottom. Showing he is a good "team player" and not making wave by accepting his role of extra is good way to get a 1way deal somewhere next year.

As frustrating as it’s gotta be to be a guy who wants to compete night in, night out, Pezzetta hopefully knows he is one of the luckiest people on the face of the Earth seeing as he is an insurance salesman masquerading as a professional hockey player to the tune of hundreds of thousands of guaranteed bucks.

I think MSL should let this guy out of his cage, what a game he would play!! The guy would have so much hustle to his game, it would make Gally look like Ryan Reaves skating up hill.

In a way yes, but the team has been unusually healthy this year. And that's pretty much why Pezz isn't getting games.
