The media are asking a single question to Hutson before every single game. The kid will get sick of it.

He has an extremely patient and personable disposition, I think he will continue to stay patient. It's a little bit like Suzuki to be honest - he's been asked some dumb questions over the last 5 years no doubt, but I can't remember a time he hasn't handled a question with grace.

These aren’t the Montreal Dach’s; let him get his game back on the bottom 6 or the ahl. If he’s not resilient enough for that he’s not a pro hockey player in the first place. Play to win.

If you make it black or white like that (which it isn’t) I suppose I’ll tune in in 2027 when they make the playoffs.

I hope they win every time I watch. My floor for watching is they gave it their all.

Not having the critical mass of talent and xp to consistently win more than you lose does not mean not trying to win or get better as a team.

Anyhoot, better get used to some favorites not making the top 6/9 if we’re to hope there is actual talent in the farm and habs eventually become a contender.

I'd tell him to shoot for a tip if the team was good , but he's one of the only players on the team who can keep possession of the puck.... I'd rather him keep it and look for a high danger chance....

I agree. The only line Yoel should be playing on is the 1st line. Now that I think about it, I think's it's the case anyway. Any line Yoel is on, automatically becomes Habs 1st line.

My bet nobody since Anderson already fought him for the hit on Barron. Unless he makes another dirty play no-one will go after him. But my bet is on Caufield is something needs to be done

I'll go against the grain and say I don't hate Barron drawing in for Struble. Barron played fine last game, no notable brainfarts that I can remember. When he keeps his game simple he's an effective defenseman. Struble has been playing well, but let's not forget he also had his rough patches earlier this year too. They're both the same age, similar career games played, and both probably about 100 games away from knowing what exactly you have in them. I do prefer Struble thus far but there's enough runway left on both of them for that to change and the only way you'll find out what you have is by playing them.
