Pettersson has the puck on the blue line, but he doesn't think about what to do, he just shoots the puck at the goal but hits the first Finnish player in front of him. Well, how will it turn out? Sweden loses the offensive zone, the game goes to Lindbom, and Finland has Sweden in its pincers for more than a minute. And all because Pettersson does not evaluate the situation correctly, that is the biggest problem of the Swedish defense. That's why it hurts so much to watch these defenders.

Agreed. He either holds on to the puck for too long, passes the expected (for the opponents) pass, or shoots on the nearest defender.
Seeing him makes me miss Niemelä, Jokiharju and others.

Before the end of the 2nd, (I thought) the shot tracker said Sweden had outshot the Finns by a large margin. But then the totals given before the 3rd period, said the Finns had more shots.

Now there is no shot totals. Can anyone clarify?
