Les Royales de Montréal…. would make more sense. And you can pronounce it the way you want in English or FrenchSome think it is going to be Monarchs or Royals
It's La Victoire de Montréal. The name and logo are great by themselves, but a brand usage and context also need to be considered.Elles s'appeleront les Victoires de Montréal!
Their team name is the Montréal Victoires!
Edit : sorry, la Victoire, singular.
Yeah I edited my post. I like the name, I think they'll find a way. "Un autre gain pour La Victoire". "La Victoire l'emporte!" Etc.It's La Victoire de Montréal. The name and logo are great by themselves, but a brand usage and context also need to be considered.
"Une autre victoire pour le Victoire de Monréal"
"La série de défaite se poursuit pour le Victoire de Montréal"
The name is a bit ankward for a sport brand.
It would've been better than Victoire. It's going to be Echo, isn't it?
Ugh.
It's not that bad, I quite like it. But it does invite some jokes if they suck for an extended period of timeI'll repeat.
The logo is absolutely superb.
The name is absolutely horrible.
It would've been better than Victoire.
Like:Boston Fleet, Minnesota Frost, New York Sirens, Ottawa Charges, Toronto Sceptres.
That’s something you hear all day long in the NY streets…..Like:
Boston Fleet
Toronto Sceptres (Buffalo Sabres vibes)
Minnesota Frost (Chill could have worked too)
Dislike:
Victoire - odd name for a sports team
Charges - rip off San Diego Chargers name (minus the R), rip off the Calgary Flames logo (only much worse - is that an O or a C??!)
Sirens - is the mythological angle on purpose? Logo done by a grade school kid? Maybe a contest?
