They had a great start to the season, and turns out having a couple of players that can score goals is enough to win games in this league. Secondary scoring has been a big issue.

Another disappointing playoffs. Hopefully they can get some secondary scoring as TDG mentioned above. I've watched a good number of their games, and I feel like it's only the same 3-4 women scoring every time. Onto next year, I guess..

I think that was media rumors, she already signed with Seattle team.
And her off season home is in Idaho, she's not glued to Boston area.

You might be thinking of Amanda Kessel? She was drafted by Montréal last year but everyone knew she wouldn't leave Boston.

For sure. The PWHL really wants to make sure that these teams hit the ground running to make sure the markets care about the team. I get it, but it's rough for Montreal. I imagine the other teams have lost some great players too, but I haven't really been paying attention.

The other teams also lost great players. Vancouver signed two D from Minny and they added Sarah Nurse too. Seattle has signed 3 players so far.

Boston lost Knight, she was their captain and one of the 3 finalists for the MVP and finished tied for top scorer. That's the equivalent of the Victoire losing Poulin.
