It's La Victoire de Montréal. The name and logo are great by themselves, but a brand usage and context also need to be considered.

Yeah I edited my post. I like the name, I think they'll find a way. "Un autre gain pour La Victoire". "La Victoire l'emporte!" Etc.

It's not that bad, I quite like it. But it does invite some jokes if they suck for an extended period of time

Charges - rip off San Diego Chargers name (minus the R), rip off the Calgary Flames logo (only much worse - is that an O or a C??!)
Sirens - is the mythological angle on purpose? Logo done by a grade school kid? Maybe a contest?

The logo is great, the name will take some getting used to but it is much better than Echo. Many old school team names would be laughed at if they started today so I think it will do well over the long terms

In Re Sirens : I don't hate it, and I sorta like the logo too, which has a real "minor baseball" feel, but it's really only one step away from Red Light.
