Oilers are clogging the middle of the ice in their own end and the Stars just cannot figure out how to get through to the net. Shots from the outside are will be stopped mosst of the time and are being stopped. Stars need to stop being pretty and just crash the net.

A forecheck would clear out some numbers, get it behind the Oilers D and hit someone.

lmao oilers REFUSE to take low percentage shots. i’ve seen multiple times this game they’ll hold the puck and take it behind the net and make a slot pass turnover instead of take a low percentage shot. That’s part of the reason for the shot difference.
