This has been a take all series and really for other teams in the playoffs. Styles make playoff series, lots of teams won’t look the same playing different teams. Factoring in Oilers have been playing better then Colorado and Dallas might also been running out of gas on conference finals which is quite common for teams that get this deep in playoffs.

Fans are notoriously bad at updating their opinions. Edmonton's defence sucks because we think so, regardless of what their defence is actually doing.

Dallas was made to beat the Oilers. An effective and mobile defense headlined with Heiskanen, with an elite goalie in net. They roll 4 effective scoring lines with one shot scorers up and down. They are the most disciplined team in the league by far, which has hurt the Oilers' main advantages. Florida doesn't match this list. This is Edmonton's year

But the lack of physicality from Dallas Edmonton pretty much do whatever they want, this is why teams like Vancouver this year, and Vegas last year that play that crazy physical style, probably the best way to win against edmonton.

I wouldn't say this while we are still in the second period and you haven't made the finals yet. I really don't think Dallas is coming back because somehow I think there has to be a limit to how many 2 goal leads can be blown, but still.

The difference in this series is that Jake Otinger can't save a puck anymore. He was doing great in the last rounds. Just shows that having a hot goalie or decent makes a great difference. Morale of the team went down at the same time. It's like Skinner who almost threw against Vancouver.

Yep.
Analytics and eye test proves contrary but opinions are hard to change. (With the Oil defence is mostly cause when they DO make errors, boy are they big lol)

If Edmonton wins tonight I think both Florida AND Edmonton are going to have a tough time winning the series. And as hockey fans, that should be exciting.
