Idk we’ve seen the NFL jets wear all green on an almost exactly same color field and it worked out just fine.

There are many different shades of green. White is white, and if it's one of those 'off whites' then it's not really white. But even green amongst sporting teams that play on grass is still rare, for exactly this reason. It's not good for TV.
