I was thinking 4x4. Sets him up for his big pay day at 29? 50 points will net you above three even without term IMO.

Thanks for starting this post. i was thinking about the same thing over the weekend about what a contract extension could look like.
The reason I started it is because I think it means that if we want to sign him, Romanov and Dobson then there’s not really a shot at bringing back Nelson or Palmieri to begin with. AND it means we won’t have money to add in FA, so those slots will need to be filled internally… likely by eiserman and someone else. but that’s all for another thread.

Barbashev got 5/25, before that he was on 3/6.75. He seems like he’s somewhere in the middle there based on where he’s going. I would agree with your number.

Plus, as noted above, isles need to ‘lower’ the Palms cap hit going forward. So, they have extra money around.
