Ehh, this team has played a lot worse in the second period. Playing as a bunch of individuals instead of as a cohesive team.

Im 22. The first Rangers game I watched was october 5th 1991, the first game after I was born. I dont remember that night but I didnt even have hair yet when this team was first introduced to me.

The earliest thing I remember in my entire life was Matteau's goal. I wasnt even 3 yet. People dont believe me but I swear on my mother I remember it. And I can tell you for a fact I havent missed a game since.

Ive been here since Adam Graves had hair, pal. Dont tell me whats up.

I'm sure you were analyzing players at 3 years old. Get a grip.

You can not help when you were born but to some of fans from the mid 1990's are "newbies". You may consider us old timers. :)

Trust me, I know, my dad's favorite player was Eddie Giacomin

But here's the thing: to me a measure of a fan isn't years of experience. It's what the team means to them. It doesn't necessarily mean you have to be angry or pessimistic, but this team means alot to me.

And I don't like to lose. I don't care if it's preseason, regular season, playoffs. I don't care if we're playing water polo against the Devils in the middle of August at the Daneyko family picnic. I'm very not ok with losing and I'm even more not ok with being embarrassed, and this is the 3rd straight game we've been embarrassed. We're not talking about tough losses here, we're talking about sloppy, bush league losses. And I'm not happy with that any month of the year.

Well said!

Brian Boyle just annoys me to no end. He's just so slow. His hands, his skating, his puck control, his anticipation, his passes. Just nothing.

This is like the inverse of the Rangers-Vancouver game in Vancouver 2011. One team dominating, the other winning 4-0.

I still think Richie looks a bit better so far. Encouraging. And no, I don't expect Nash to be flying as if he's fighting for a spot, but it's not as if he's been the antithesis of laziness thus far in his career either. Not THE laziest player, by a long shot, but as another poster said 'nothing about him really screams winner' either.

Also Sully's PP seems to work fine with different personnel.
