KZB dominating and Quinn is just feeding them minutes

good ****

Yeah def deserved. AV would have moved Buch down to the 4th line by now. Make them play and work things out, was a slow start but they picked up in the 2nd half and led to that PP goal.

lmfao Buch being on the fourth line. what a wild ride that was.

First half of that period was terrible but they picked it up at the end. Lots more looking unsure in the D-zone tonight, with missed assignments and poor gap control. Also agree with Joe that we were very passive for large stretches.
Staal-Shattenkirk shouldn't be a pairing so not really sure why we'd be trying them out in our 2nd last pre-season game.
KZB is fun to watch
Staal and Andersson did a really good job on the PK of taking away the cross-ice pass, maybe we've finally woken up to this?

This is stupid, but does it bother anyone else that most of Buch's goals are tip-ins or flukes? I feel like since his rookie year he beat a goalie clean like once. I want his shot to improve.
You're nitpicking.I wouldnt care if a goal went in off his ass.a goal is a goal.

Ya I thought Skjei Pionk Crawley McQuaid were all totally fine in the defensive zone. No extended shifts in the D zone. It was just about entirely Shattenkirk-Staal that were hemmed in 3-4 times plus the GA.

It kinda hits me watching live that we have a very stationary PK. Not sure I like it.
