Yeah he's a good agitator. I've wanted to see him with a top 6 dou to see if it could bring it out of him. With Kreider and Zibanejad it gets simple, get the puck in the corner, cycle and go to the crease. He's effective that way

Sometimes I wonder if the coach doesn’t get annoyed when bubble players play well in the later part of pre-season. Makes their decisions harder.

I know he's on the outside looking in, but a guy like Fogarty has shown everything you want out of a 4C this preseason. From a glass half full perspective, these guys all playing this well bodes well for Hartford and at least mitigates some concerns about depth issues.

Fogarty has continued to impress me. He makes a lot of great plays just by simple awareness and stick positioning. Don't know if he made a mistake all night. And that's with #8 stuck to him all pre-season.

Happy for Vinny. He played well

If Fogarty makes the team or is called up at any point this year and sticks, everyone owes @Trxjw and I a beer.

Yes how they have performed so far in this pre season - Vesey will get a hard time to reach the 4th line. He is a 2.2 mil $ contract depth guy at the moment - maybe Gorton looking to move him I don`t know.

Having plenty of players nipping at heels is definitely a good thing, and we haven’t had that for a while.

They have cap space ... Vesey is getting a spot at LW and I’m fine w 4th line if others are better. He actually gets shots he just doesn’t bury a ton
