Can't get rid of a feeling that Chytil is / will be a winger (even though I'm fully aware that he's been playing center).

Also, interested to see Gropp and Tambellini in the same lineup.

And as many noted yesterday: Staal-Gilmour... ouch, though in a pre-season game against other team's depth (AHL and lower) it might came off as decent outing...

I talked about this the other day. I truly believe that NYR is pairing Staal with a sub-par defenseman because they expect Staal to be able to carry that pairing. The onus is on him to do so, and also on AV to learn to not rely on Staal.

Staal getting 12 ES + 4 PK mins per game is perfectly acceptable, especially if he's paired with another puck mover. If he can play that game sufficiently, he'll be a very tradeable player at 50% retained

Someone posted that it's heet-il (silent C, rhymes with beetle), but I haven't heard anyone on TV actually say it.

They should interview the kid between periods and ask him!

In all the videos Amanda Borges has posted, she pronounces it with a silent "C", like "beetle," and I would trust a person in a position like hers to pronounce names correctly.
