Wonder if Andersson on the fourth line is to see how he can handle those type of minutes/linemates, or they're just trying to give Chytil an opportunity after seeing what Andersson could do

They're giving Chytil an opportunity to succeed for sure.

Could be both. That was the first thought that crossed my mind though. Letting him play closer to the role they might have in mind for him.

:help:

Somebody help out a foreigner. Where has this Chytil kid come from and which current NHL centers would you compare him to?

He was their second draft pick in the 1st round this year. 7th overall was Andersson, 21st overall was Chytil.

Czech, fast riser in the draft rankings after some good showings in international tournies, played in the Czech men's league last year and did very well for a very young player (he just barely turned 18). Great hands, great shot, great skating, great size...

I got no comparisons because I haven't seen enough of his play but he's the kind of guy you think "if he puts it all together he's going to be a star". The question of course being whether he puts it all together

DD on the PP is weird. I mean, it's preseason, so whatever.

He can make plays when he has some time to handle it. He'll probably be on one half wall opposite Zuccarello, Shatty obviously on the point, Kreider in front and Chytil as the slot guy.

as long as 27 isnt on the pp, everything else is gravy.

looking forward to watching that 1st and 2nd line

marc stale with 25 mins toi. calling it now.....

Over/under for faceoff violation penalties set at 3.

Over/under for slashing penalties (both teams combined) set at 12.

Gamecenter/NHL.tv or (MOD).

Does anyone know why Bereglazov isn't playing in the first 2 preseason games? Haven't been following and haven't heard anything either.
Likely to give some young guys who will get cut/reassigned a quick look and some experience. They've already said he's playing the next two games.

Have there been any cuts yet? I know sometimes after the first game teams make some cuts.
