haha yeah I know, I want to beat the devils, but I know it is just preseason so I won't be too bummed. There is training camp and preseason games to get the rust off, get the timing back and make new chemistry. The last couple games of preseason will give us a good idea of how this team will look and play.

I thought the point of this thread is to analyze the preseason play. The Rangers didn't really look good that period, but god forbid someone point that out. The Devils played well and looked like a cohesive unit.

It's been your standard sloppy first pre-season game. The people complaining just don't watch pre-season, I guess, since most games are like this. The idea isn't to win but just to start getting the players in game shape and into the zone. If they look like this in October I think a minor complaint or two would be warranted.

I cant belive people are freaking out over the first preseason game with 3/4 of our starters not even there. It was a sloppy first period but i expected that. Can our fans i dont know...be patient

2 Things:

1) Is Brodeur's son, the one who got drafted, the child of the original wife or the sister in law

2) For peace of mind to the doomsdayers. Below is a list of players that will be part of the starting lineup (for some or most of the season) that are not playing tonight.

So, half of our D, 2+ lines of our forwards, including an entire line of top 6 players, not counting Zucc.

......This is essentially an AHL team with a few studs scattered around.
