Sloppy period overall, but I thought Staal, Moore, and the Boyle line looked solid. Unfortunate that Kreider couldn't bury that chance and then was weak on Tedenby's stick leading to the goal. Moore is moving well, but is trying to force some passes. Mashinter would be a nice 4th line guy if he didn't skate like a 3 year old. Yikes.

Anyone who expected a well oiled machine in the first period of the preseason with a roster half filled with minor leaguers is just being crazy. They looked sloppy. They're also 4 days into training camp and half of the regulars aren't playing.
