Lias was great this period.
DeAngelo looked like our best D out there.
Georgiev needs to control better his rebounds.
I missed Rangers hockey!

just lol @ McLeod...I have no f***ing idea what the guy was thinking...either pounce on the loose puck and man to support Pionk or pass your man off to Staal and cover the late guy. this needs benny circus music.

DeAngelo looked shaky in that period. His passes were hit or miss...some right into the feet. A few shots when passes were open, and vice versa.

DeAngelo was the best defenseman for the 1st. Composed with the puck. Very good outlet passes to get the attack started.
Lol...see...everyone sees things different. I felt like his passes weren't crisp. And that shot that Boyle blocked, he had buch open on the right for a hd shot

Would you people make up your minds? :sarcasm:

Hard to get a read with all the penalty time.
- Nieves was a bit disappointing as I feel he should be one of those guys really using preseason to push for a spot. He always 'almost there' but doesn't quite get it done and his early penalty was just lazy
- Pionk was out positioned on the first goal and then got no help at all from whichever forward didn't get back, then on the PP goal he seemed to get a bit lost as well with his positioning
- DeAngelo and Staal looked like a pretty solid pairing early in
- Andersson looked very good, certainly no issue with his skating (or his finish) on the breakaway
- Fast looks like Fast (which is a good thing)

Would like to see some of the bubble guys start to push the tempo a bit in the 2nd

Did not see that coming.

lol.

i mean i dont miss the invisible 8 million dollar man who showed up every 3rd game maybe

for 8 large, we can do better

as for tonight so far, meh. it means nada.

i like deangelo and still believe hes gonna be one our most productive defenders. let him run and gun.

I’m okay with someone shooting from the back end. Some shots will get blocked. His shots routinely get through and he’s shooting for sticks.

I saw one pass in the skates to a guy who was circling back and I’m not sure he couldn’t have take it on the tape if he tried.

BTW, aren’t you at hockey?

Good to see DeAngelo looking good out there. Very confident with the puck on his stick. Probably the best dman in the 1st.

Lias skating has improved quite a bit after this summer, and a great start for him consider he is competing to get a spot on the Rangers team this season and it won`t be on our 4th line.
