When I watch highlights of prospects, I catch myself looking at the quality of goals scored. Like were most of the shots stoppable by goalies in the NHL? I figure if I see weak goals go in that's not necessarily something that can be sustainable at the NHL level. If I see player pick corners relatively often, I figure that he has an NHL shot that can beat an NHL goalie. That's why I was excited about Prucha. A lot of people like to scoff at him and make it sound like all of his goals were empty netters set up by Jagr on the powerplay. However, I remember a really high percentage of his goals be downright snipes. He looked like he had a great shot to me. He also was pretty good around the net if I remember correctly. Seriously for a good portion of the 05-06 season he would pick corners like no one's business. I guess the one negative was that he didn't shoot much and his shooting percentage was unsustainable. However, still after his injury that year it seemed like every shot would go straight into the goalie's chest for the rest of his career here. Did the injury affect him? What happened to him?
