It’s difficult to track EVERY player in EVERY league so I want this thread to be for the prospects that maybe don’t get the fanfare, but are enjoying amazing seasons.
I’ll start off with a few but I want to hear more names.
Dimitri Buchelnikov (Det): close to a point per game in the KHL and enjoying one of the most successful seasons in the league for a player his age. He’s quietly one of the best prospects in the sport.
Kieran Walton (WPG) : One of the highest scoring players in the OHL was only a second round pick last year, has really benefited from Musty being injured in Sudbury most of the year. Really impressive numbers for a pick that late.
Ilya Protas (WSH): has been one of the best players in the OHL this year and is the biggest reason why Windsor is so good. Great value pick in the third round, looks better than his brother at the same age.
Oscar Fiskar Molgaard (SEA): near P/Pg in the SHL looks to have the makings of a very good middle 6 forward. Very impressive play out of the Danish forward.
