Except Saginaw is hosting the Memorial Cup, so Willis is resurrected for that. I believe he is our only prospect in the Mem Cup.Saskatoon lost in the WHL semi-finals, so Molendyk is done now. (Incredibly, 6 of 7 games including the last one went to OT?!)
Similarly Saginaw is out, so Willis is also done.
Capfriendly has his rights expiring June 1 2024.... so he should be a UFA. We could sign him now and then we'd have Hanzel, Sward, and the pick for TreninInteresting Colorado didn’t even sign Graham Sward. I guess he’ll be a total free agent now since he was an overager, as opposed to a draft re-entry…
Molendyk looked good. He laid out Stiga at one point when the puck got caught in his skates and he caught him looking down. Rung his bell and he missed a few minutes shaking it off. He was on gold team which offensively didn't have as much consistent pressure, and he seemed to be carrying the puck well with nowhere to take it once he got the zone.damn shame the media coverage of this team is so awful that there has not been one write up/analysis of the developments from dev camp
Afterthought. Dunno if he will ever come to Milwaukee or not but he's got a whole bunch of folks ahead of him on the prospect charts. Is there a plan for Knak or is he an after thought?
Used to be a place where you could easily find when rights expired. I cant find em on puckpedia but Knak's counting stats havent really moved much from year to year since being drafted. We also have a ton players in our RW pool... Evangelista, Wood, Kemell, Fink, Gojsic, Tomasino, Weisblatt, etc.... i doubt we ever see him in the NHL or MIL.Afterthought. Edit to add I don't think the Preds have even signed him so I suspect his rights will expire without him ever signing
One kicks oneself for not having taken a snapshot of that page before CapFriendly shut down, alas.Used to be a place where you could easily find when rights expired. Going to be a pass on all these guys expiring next month...and I am betting same story next year unless Olsson has an outside shot and comes to Milwaukee to add some minutes/impresses.
Yep, we've snuck Haider & Campbell in on the Novak-Milwaukee-special deals, and all of Fontaine, McLane, and Reid are gone.Going to be a pass on all these guys expiring next month...and I am betting same story next year unless Olsson has an outside shot and comes to Milwaukee to add some minutes/impresses.
Might keep Dylan MacKinnon because we dont have a ton of RHD prospects and he doesnt look half bad. Other then that i dont see much there.Going to be a pass on all these guys expiring next month...and I am betting same story next year unless Olsson has an outside shot and comes to Milwaukee to add some minutes/impresses.
Yeah, MacKinnon's numbers are pretty terrible (even for a stay-at-home D... one with any NHL aspirations anyway) but him and Jatkola if he rebounds are options to sign next year. I think Willis is worth keeping. He may just be an AHL energy-line guy. But I think he'll have a huge year in the OHL next season and get signed.Might keep Dylan MacKinnon because we dont have a ton of RHD prospects and he doesnt look half bad. I was hoping he would become a sniper so he can be "Walther PPK"I was really hoping Walther would make it since the whole draft had to stop before we picked him because he wasn't even in the system
