At what point in time do we have the discussion, if it is ever gonna happen for Söderblom? Not trying to be cute, serious question.

Mostly agree with the list BTW. Especially Augustine, who I'am also very high on.

You don't need to be a top 3 prospect in the org to become a graduated prospect.

I think Soderblom could make it as a 3rd or 4th line LW. And at this stage I don't see him as any worse an option than Rasmussen who has been ice cold for the past what, 6 weeks? What Soderblom lacks in defensive acumen (in comparison to Rasmussen) he more than makes up for in physicality and hands. He's been a physical monster in Grand Rapids this year. And I think if he plays with a center that has some skill and playmaking he'd be able to unlock some scoring at the NHL level. Maybe he's a 15-20 goal, 30 point guy 3rd liner that gets PP2 time and can play spot duty on the 2nd line during injuries?

ANSWER: October 7 or so 2025

He is out of waiver exemptions. Motte and Fischer are UFAs after the season. He will likely get the opportunity to replace one of them. (The Wings may also move or, buy out Tarasenko.)
