First goal in a bit -

Edit - a "bit" being six games without a point prior to today.

Just touching base that his TOI has dropped down to the 10-12 minute range and he has just 1 goal and no assists in his last 7 games.
It's not easy to develop in such a team and with such a coach, especially if you're not Kaprizov. He even extended the contract...

Just from looking at the stats he has gone from

21-22 17G 0 PTS
22-23 56G 10PTS
23-24 56G 13PTS
24-25 63G 39PTS

Huge jump this last season. I wonder if he will get a chance to come to training camp next season? I know he is under contract until 26/27 so I am not sure how that works?

No transfer agreement, meaning he'd have to get out of the contract first... Personally I don't expect him to ever come across the pond, but if he did, it would probably be in 2027 with the idea that he could compete for NHL spot right away instead of going to the AHL.

He’d have to pay off the remainder of his contract to come to North America. Whether that’s a one time thing (ie he pays the $850K rubles all at once) or he does payments on it (say $150K over three years) is a different story.

Those numbers are just random. I obviously don’t know his contract numbers he signed. And it’s up to his club to accept that (other than a straight buyout).

I don't think he'll leave the KHL early, and he's obviously not going to go to the AHL.
