So kirsanov the only one with regular minutes.

Playing time is important and I guess the biggest factor but sometimes I think it is easy to underrate practicing with higher talent because we don't see it

Looks like Poltapov is pulling regular minutes, no? I think that was the point of the post. Not being snarky here, JC

As I read the posts upthread, the first grouping is the games, TOI, and shifts of players in the KHL. It was posted in response to someone asking how much time they are getting. It appears of that group, only Kirsanov is getting regular time in the KHL

Then Poltapov's numbers in the VHL are shown as a reference to how much time he's currently getting in the lower league . I believe that Poltapov has only played one game in the KHL and that was last season. This year all the games he's played to date have been in the lower VHL

Appreciate that. I see the point now that it's important for him to get ice time. The VHL is no slouch league anyway.

He is better off playing in the VHL, CSKA is a mess now and a coach who has never been a coach.

Kid is on the ice a lot. Not like he's playing a lot, but like he's on the ice. He'll have time to get stronger on his skates, though. Threw a beauty of a hit in the corner on his first shift. Not credited with it, so either it was too late to count or my eyes were wrong on the play and replay. He came a crossbar away from an assist on a shot from our old friend John Gilmour.

It's a work in progress so far. His line isn't getting much work (offensive zone shifts though) and he missed his line's last shift so the 13th forward could play his only shift of the period.

Didn't catch the second half, but it looks like he had an empty stat line in 4th line time.
