Man I really wanted that shutty for Wolfie. He was lights out. Even when you beat him you don't reaaaaally beat him.

Good win boys. Wolf n Vlad gonna make sure we don't keep that 1st rounder. Haha. So Flames, but whatever. We can't control shit.

I'm cheering laundry! Just don't expect to win a lot.

Might go tomorrow. Last game here in Van this yr. Tired team on b2b though and Vlad likely getting hung out to dry for a $100 bleeder? Haha undecided.

I dunno how you can call that definitive either way.
Before and after the play in question you can see that the crossbar exactly covers the goal line so the goal line is not visible. Therefore if the puck is entirely beyond the crossbar it must also be entirely beyond the goal line. Likely the reason they put the camera exactly there in the first place.

If only they'd thought to do it a few decades sooner.

The Flames play about two thirds of their Vancouver games as the tired team on a B2B.

I think every time I've gone it's been a back-to-back and I've expected them to be flat. Somehow I have a very heavy winning record (haven't been since pre-COVID though). You should go!

My record isn't so hot in person from what I can remember. It's been since before covid too I think...might have seen one game post 'rona and am going senile.

We'll see. I've been battling a little migraine action this week, but figure I'll regret not taking this one in.

Still debating popping down to YYC at some point for a game or two. Last time was in 2015 during Valentine's Day weekend w the wifey. Showed her the sights including the house I grew up in down in Thorncliffe.
A nice Calgary tower lunch, the zoo and a Monahan double as we beat the Canucks 3-2.

Bouma w the winner!

I can't escape the Canucks. We played them in the playoffs that year too. It'd be nice to come down and watch the Flames play another team in person. Last time for me was Flames Hawks '89 cup run. I was 7 turning 8. Haha.

Seen the Canucks play 15 diff teams while living here of course , but going to a hockey game that doesn't feature our boys is like going to a cringe humour flick when you wanted to see the newest action thriller.
