Don't know if thats the best approach. I know lund, he's the best player I've played against, by far, in any league. He tries to outplay his opponents for wins, I respect that. But if someone has a valid concern they should be able to voice it in hopes of keeping a league with integrity going.

Not to beat a dead rotting decrepit horse here, but who knows, maybe Lund's gameplay has changed due to these settings. Pokes are much more overpowered, easier to spam without getting called, and even can alter your players speed/animations/positioning. Which I've been trying to get a grasp of to perfect and comment on their cheesiness in this game mode. Referring to chops here

either way, KISSESSSS

Just because I feel confident in my poke checks doesn't mean I spam the RB button. I just know when to use it and how to position my self to shut down the opposition. I'm not going to sit around and watch people walk around me.

Also, my gameplay has been the same since day one.

The thing is there not overpowered on this setting so don't blame it on that. Lund is a very good player, I just didn't like the rate he was using it at that's all.

Would it make you feel better if we rematched and this time i'll let you score a few? I'll play D how you want by not doing anything maybe i'll just lay on the ground to make it tough for you.

I think you do that enough haha.

Someone people spam poke and use it selfishly, Lund is not one of those players. I've played him many times.

haha your a funny guy :sarcasm: and I guess ill never be happy with the way everyone plays, but heavy use of the poke check is what peeves me most.

I have also been online frequently and even sent you a friends request, which has yet to been accepted.

So NO.

You're not entitled to play any of those CPU's

You MUST send each of your opponents a message at the beginning of the block in order to play their CPU at any time during that block. Likewise, opponents must send you a message before they can play your CPU.

The message should include your general availability for those three days. If you do that, you should be able to get most of your games in vs. humans. If the person does not respond by the final hours of the third day, then you can play them, but only if you've previously messaged them.

(Obviously, people who are away on vacation and have given you their blessing to play the CPU is an exception).

FYI, we're now approximately 35 games into the season. The following teams have yet to use their backup goalie:

:rangers
:habs
:cbj
:sharks

These teams have only used their backup goalie 1-2 times:

:jets
:caps
:coyotes
:stars
:avs
:sabres
:bruins

Reminder: You must use your back-up goalie(s) at least 10 times over the course of the season. This is a simple way to compensate for the absence of goalie fatigue in the game.

Can I use my back up goalie for 82 games lol

You're Islanders? You're already good--you've got three goalies at 12 games a piece.

I should have been more clear. It doesn't matter who you designate the starter or the back-up. The rule is simple: No goalie can start more than 72 games.

I'll advance at 8:00 EST p.m. That's a bit less than two hours from now.

If, and only if, you've made a concerted effort to reach your opponents, and have yet to hear back from them, you can feel free to play their CPU at this point. (You need to make sure the game ends before the advance begins).

If anyone feels their CPU has been played in error, feel free to contact Chuck or myself.

So :panthers will continue to be online very little. Not a good time of year to manage a bakery lol. I will be on periodically, but I have no idea when those times will be (and it likely wont be a whole lot of time) so if you want to play the CPU go for it, if you want to play me just keep your eyes open for when I'm on!

Yeah, the list I presented above isn't perfect, because it doesn't take into account goalies who were traded away.

As long as no goalie plays more than 72 games in the regular season for your team, there won't be an issue. In other words, if Rask ends up with 72, and the Kudobin or whoever has 4, then we'll know someone else played the remaining games. Because it is inconvenient to compare the total GP of the goalies to their respective team, I used the above method a quick-glance way to let people know whether they need to look more closely at their team's situation.

However, teams like the Sharks, Blue Jackets, Lightning and others who have acquired a "starter" are responsible for ensuring that that goalie plays no more than 72 games, even if they shipped out a starter.
