wow thats the first time I've seen that clip since it happened.. and it looks more staged than I had originally thought

The way Chris Rock tightens up as Smith is approaching him... then braces for the hit by dragging in his right leg a little bit and leaning forward in preparation.. not to mention his animated jump backwards when Smith swings around with his slap that didn't even connect lol

folks this is showbiz. Chris Rock/Smith...Biden... How anyone can sit there and swallow it up and not realise that it's all a stage for the cameras is beyond me..

I do agree it looks fake, Chris Rock 5' 10", 170lbs vs Will Smith 6' 2", 195 lbs and he starts his swing in Seattle and Rock barley moves? I've been around trained fighters all my life and that is not the body reaction I would expect from a much smaller man. When people get an unexpected strike to the head, the body's natural reaction is to raise your hands to your face to protect your brain.

I agree Biden was just being a silly grand pa and are we as a fan base so insecure that we need every one to like us?
 
He said it apparently because they beat Philly one time and his wife is a Philly fan.

I think the whole thing was more of a fun joke. Who gives a shit really lol. Biden probably doesn't watch much hockey.

Just a president trying to have some fun with his speech. This is certainly preferable to the other insanity before him.

Pretty embarrassing that this guy is supposedly one of the most powerful men in the world, I think it’s proof the entire thing is a charade.

Hey he got the team name correct take it as a win. How many players and teams have been butchered across sports when visiting the White House when they win. Presidents seem to have little sports knowledge usually.
