No team from Canada has won the SC since the late 80s but I do remember Gretz being there, and Detroit with Steve I-zeer-men, I know the Jay's would have gone I just don't remember it, cause really I could care less about the US and their politics.

I like Biden well enough. The "joke" is flimsy, he's just doing what every politician does - pandering to locals, not a big deal and I think 99.9% of Leaf fans couldn't care less - as this feeble joke doesn't get close to hitting a nerve. But what I find amusing is this perpetual loop Leaf haters have created for themselves. Hate that it's "Leafs Leafs Leafs" all the time in the media, yet clap like trained seals when Leafs get into the news with silly stories like this and make brilliant comments like "insecure much?". That my friends, is projection on full display.
