- Line-up info added as I find it.
- Per Ducks website- No morning skate for the Ducks, so lines may not be available until nearer to game time. Gibson expected to start. Sounds like no Perry/Getzlaf.

Draisaitl taking line rushes at wing w/RNH and Pouliot. Caggiula between Maroon & Puljujarvi. We'll see if that holds for Anaheim tonight.

How does streaming work on edmontonoilers.com? Must I have a subscription to the NHL.com's streaming services?

Generally speaking, it usually doesn't.

But even when it is working it's blacked out most places.

Unfourtunately the streams are region-locked (poorly) by NHL.com. Subscription is not required, but to watch the stream from the Oilers side you must be (supposedly) in Alberta, Saskatchewan, Northwest Territories. There have been reports of streams working in other locations... though "working" might be too strong of a word when it comes to the oilers preseason streams.

Per edmontonoilers.com website

You can watch tonight's game live starting at 7:00 PM MDT within the Oilers region (Alberta, Saskatchewan, Northwest Territories) right here on EdmontonOilers.com.

It's only available in Oilers broadcast region (Alberta and Saskatchewan).

That's when it works at all.

might as well listen on the radio cause you will be squinting and giving yourself headaches trying to make out the numbers on the stream. . . . . as it pauses and cuts out every 67seconds.

Just a note, it has worked inexplicably for those out of country. Depending on your desire to watch Oilers preseason excitement, it's worth trying to tune in.

This is a very interesting combination of players if it lasts as it would likely mean Caggiula makes the team, Versteeg gets cut, and Yakupov is up in the press-box or on the fourth line.

Lucic-McDavid-Eberle
Pouliot-RNH-Draisaitl
Maroon-Caggiula-Puljujarvi

That's definitely an interesting top 9 and although the third line is super young. It would definitely be surprising if two rookies in Caggiula and Puljujarvi make it while two veterans in Versteeg and Yakupov do not.

Can't even watch it on mobile either. I live out in the country and can't even load a YouTube video, so I have to use my phone.

Nice to see Maroon back, one of out toughest guys on the team, not surprised. He likes playing against his former team also.

Blue Jackets icing Aulie and MA Bergeron today. We must be doing something right on d today.

Back o' beyond
Just posted on Oilers site for their projected lineup.

Forward Lines:

Maroon - Draisaitl - Yakupov
Pouliot - RNH - Puljujarvi
Hendricks - Letestu - Kassian
Pitlick - Lander - Slepyshev

Defencemen:

Klefbom - Larsson
Simpson - Gryba
Reinhart - Fayne

So it looks like potential 2nd, 3rd, and 4th lines for season opener, and the potential AHL first line.

Make or break for Yak. Glad to see they're giving him the opportunity tonight.
