Does Sparks have to go through waivers before being sent down?

Picard is way better than sparks. Mcbackup out shines them allTrouble for Sparks, he's not even our third best goalie this camp.
Personally I hope we go with Pickard. I like McE also, but would hate to lose both Sparks and Pickard to waivers given their age. I think Pickard has a lot of upside.Trouble for Sparks, he's not even our third best goalie this camp.
Yikes, makes the decision tougher. I'd take any one of those three over 2.5 mil Koskinen. Two of Pickard, Sparks and Mac have to go through waivers
Hopefully we can keep Pickard. Two of Pickard, Sparks and Mac have to go through waivers
Definitely good fortune for the Habs so far. Niemi has gotten away with a couple tire fires in his crease. Sometime we read way too much into short-term outcomes of a game played with a piece of bouncing rubber on ice.Two seeing eye pucks that go in despite the Leafs dominating that period so far. Tough game so far.
That seemed to be the standard last season when the Leafs allowed a goal that looked to be goalie interference and it still counted after the coaches challenge.and so it begins.....what the **** is a goalie interference then? If a Leaf does that it is automatic goalie interference **** this bush league refs

Agreed, but I think we go with Mc. If we out both Sparks and Pickard on waivers at same time, maybe Pickard slips though. I like him.Personally I hope we go with Pickard. I like McE also, but would hate to lose both Sparks and Pickard to waivers given their age. I think Pickard has a lot of upside.
I'm wondering if you actually think he's worse than McElhinney and Pickard, or just playing worse at the training campOkay I get it, you're a Sparks guy.
