I mean, if you go count the posts that mention the Habs on the sens pregame talk vs mentioning the sens on the Habs pregame talk, it's quite different.

Why do you think that is?

I can get a more specific tally if the accuracy is of any concern?

I just wanted an answer of why, more or less...

It's different when the game matters and each team is playing with an nhl lineup. I hope there's no issues, but it wouldn't surprise me. Especially if the Sens are getting smoked.

It's still early in MSL's experimentations. But if that ends up being the basic format, I'd have Pearson ahead of Gally with Anderson and Newhook.

I guess fans really do follow team behavior. Leafs keep blaming other teams for their problems. Sens all have little brother syndrome and don't feel respected enough.

What does that make the Habs fans? I'm reading arrogant, but the current team doesn't feel arrogant so that doesn't work.

It's really the ratio of posts about the other team that is drastically different. I was asking more about that. Curious if anyone knows why? It's ok if you don't. I'm not looking for confrontation.

Haha fair enough! I would prefer there to be hatred as it makes games much more intense. I just haven't seen it recently.

I think part of it is how soft the NHL has gotten. A 2-1 game is a lot more entertaining when you hate each other and there's a line brawl then just some random 2-1 game in the year 2023.

Respect can only be awarded in the handshake line... and usually only after 5 consecutive 1st round exits.

Considering the fact the Ottawa valley league sold the Canadians to Montreal for $5,000 for English speaking market. I think Habs fans should apricate this gesture forever! Leafs or Blue Shorts went to Toronto for $2,000

The new owner will take care of it eventually. But $$$$ will always be an issue. They must move downtown to attract more customers. They fill the arena mainly when Habs and leafs are in town. The rest of the time

Benoit Groulx as coach and Patrick Roy as GM would make lots of sense for Sens.

The lines and pairings are in order of likelihood of making the team.

The top two lines (plus Kastelic) are likely to be the bottom six of the team, just as Brannstrom, Hamonic and JBD will be on the bottom pair.

Geez, why do you guys care about/hate Ottawa so much? It's not like they've been relevant since 2017 and it's not like they have a lot of fans...

I went to the Senators discussion to compare and it's just conversation about their teams depth pieces.

I come here and it's all hatred/malcontent towards the sens or their fans.

Why? What has happened over the last several years for a team with no relevance or fans to piss you guys off this much?

I'd kill for a rivalry, but the hatred seems one sided.

Are sens fans so fragile and sensitive that they can't take what's posted on another teams GDT ? Only reason I ever go on their board is to see when Formenton and maybe Batherson will be officially banned from NA hockey.
