Well this game is certainly a surprise. It's preseason and doesn't mean much but it's fun to watch!

Thing I'm most pleased with is definitely Vanecek. Not like he's seeing a TON of pressure, but I'm not clenching my ass in terror every time a puck flies towards him yet, and that makes him the best goalie we've had in years.

Only two of the regular defensemen from last year playing helps too.

Yeah, I agree, that is gross. Too much pizza. I cut up my pizza and put in on my ranch.

I used to get these frozen pizzas and one of the flavors was chicken, bacon, ranch.

I actually liked them, but the sauce was the ranch. It was ranch instead of red sauce.

So, I did like them. I can't find them anymore. They also had BBQ pizza where the sauce was BBQ. I don't mind those, I don't mind a buffalo pizza (which has ranch on it sometimes), but adding ranch to a regular slice of pizza? No way.

As far as dipping pizza in ranch or pouring ranch on the pizza, hell no.

And yeah, I want to see Zetterlund, Holtz, Thompson in the roster, but for now I love Bastian much more. If we could sign him for 4 years on cheap deal, I would buy his jersey.

He's been solid.

Hasn't had to be particularly great, we're playing very well in front of him. Especially quality of lineup considered.

He did stop that partial breakaway, which I think goes through Blackwood's legs at this point more often than not.

See, I was joking, I dip my pizza in ranch if it's not great pizza, or reheated leftovers, but replacing the sauce with ranch??? That sounds like something that I would make while drunk and regret three bites in.

I've liked his game so far...

I thought we had a couple shifts out there where he should've froze the puck and left Wotherspoon and Foote and others out on the ice for like 3 minutes, though.
