I'm going to guess Skinner has another sub par year on the downslope to a mediocre career end. I was hoping Savoie would have seized the moment and forced their hand but he had a very disappointing camp himself. Holloway had some chemistry beginning with Draisaitl too.. man.

Savoie was fine. Had a good preseason.

Brown's unfortunately gonna play a lot this year I think, due to his 3 year contract. He'll be that guy who everybody can see is godawful but he keeps getting playing time and this board will complain about him every night and win in spite of him but not before yelling at the screen in frustration.

Brown's positioning and awareness are both just so bad too.. he's up near the blue line as Seattle is rushing into the zone, he's cycling up to chase the puck when he needs to stay close to the house and protect the front of the net... etc. Which pro scout genius picked this one, *AND* insisted on a 3 year contract? FFS.

His deal could be worth it if he spent most of the time in the AHL to bolster the Condors, and perhaps the occasional call up

Imo he's getting a push because they want a big physical RD. But we should worry too much until we see him on NHL ice in the regular season
