I think it's unlikely. Blackwell probably gets 1st shot at 12th forward, and Hyry won't be the 13th since they'll want him playing ... in the AHL or NHL.

That said, I wouldn't be surprised if Hyry ends up in the NHL by the end of the season.

I could see them bringing Hyry on the Finland trip as the extra (and maybe even to play).

Otherwise the answer is probably "no one" to who makes the team since they'll be trying to bank every cent of cap space again.

Brendan Smith was partially signed because he can fill in at 4th line forward in a pinch.
