Think we see most starters for thr finale? Or coaches likely happy with the amount played and start planning for Game 1

I couldn't get the Victory+ app to work after the halfway point in the game
Did it freeze up? That's happened to me a few times per game so far during preseason. I either back out and reload the app or reset the streaming device and it usually fixes it

Kind of a strange practise when barely any regulars are in the lineup but ok .

Also evaluation. Makes more sense to have non-NHLrs do it. Although they should have just had a 10 round shootout for any of it to make sense.
yeah, i'm not sure anyone learned anything in the 5 shots that were taken.

even if you do have regulars in, are they really gonna use any new moves in the preseason so it's out there to study?

aside from that, it's the one thing that's completely controllable in a practice environment. only difference is it's a different goalie. would make more sense to me to have a 3 on 3 period regardless of score and ditch the shootout.

The shootout was to add fun and excitement. There is nothing more fun and exciting than the Minnesota Wild.

For real though, it's an entertainment product at the end of the day and the Wild knew they were putting out a substandard product with their lineup. If the shootout makes a paying customer even "slightly" less disappointed with that stinker of a hockey game then mission accomplished.
