Decent period. Not great, but decent. Not really getting the connections to tear them apart, in fact the stats give Detroit an edge and I believe it, but I think you can see that coming and some commitment.

Really liked Poulin's game. Really noticeable ability to be in the right spot and make things happen. Not pumping his tires after one period but as I said, like the trend.

Thought Archibald fluffed his two most noticeable moments before drawing that penalty.

Also think Poehling looks interesting, Smith isn't making many noticeable mistakes without the puck, DeSmith is doing well...

Pretty good so far from CDS, Archibald, Poulin, Rust, Poehling. We look like more of a team. Pretty even game.
