Gibsons home “recovering” and enjoying not being in goal for the next few months.

Who was that guy I was arguing with about having a better lineup when we were playing at home? Lol

Dumoulin looked pretty good. Nesterenko had that one nice shift. Ehh, that’s it.

[preseason is not predictive] my concerns about Zegras being unproductive with Cronin versus Eakins are not going away [/preseason is not predictive]
Zegras looks like he's playing to not.make a mistake. Like he's scared to make a mistake. It's screwing with him

The preseason is not predictable mantra is great for winning teams. For losing teams it is that concern that nothing has really changed and this year will be another disappointment.

But the real fear is that strikes terror into every fan is that the Ducks will become one of the fodder franchises in the NHL.

There are professional sports teams that can never seem to put it together. They develop a losing culture that no draft picks, coaching change, or front office shake ups can overcome.

Agreed, with this team I don’t give them the benefit of the doubt necessarily. This is likely to just roll right into the season

Time will tell. The vast majority of key pieces we have are 23 or younger. It’s pretty early to be fearing the franchise is becoming the Cleveland Browns or Buffalo Sabres, regardless of Cronin

if things are still like this 2 years from now I will be outside Honda Center protesting with you

I mean kinda getting tired of the same ol same old

Two sets of rosters in two games still starting off slowly or one person going 100% and four just watching. Are they zoning out Cronin already?

Although, Cronin does make a great point about both Fowler and Gudas haven't played yet as well as included LaCombe with those guys to imply our defensive group can be loads better.

Shut out 4-0? Lovely

Maybe it’s a good thing I can’t watch these games. Plus, I was too busy in Miami last night watching my Dolphins get squished.

You can delay your tears until the regular season starts. :DD

As for the Fins, probably looking at who the top QB is for the 2025 NFL draft just like how we Duck fans are looking at who the top RHD is for the 2025 NHL draft. I just got done listening to ESPN's Dan Orlovsky explaining how HC McDaniel's offense is designed around Tua such that dropping another QB in and expecting the same results cannot happen. All the pre-snap motions stuff doesn't matter anymore to opposing defenses and McDaniel might be having a difficult time limiting his offense with every new QB he gets. The Fins are on their 4th QB already in four games.

I wish the best for Tua, but I think he's gotta be treated like former Ducks' Kase... too many concussions sadly means we gotta move on.
