The one shift I even noticed him was 60 seconds of pure laziness and stick waving.
To me the most telling thing is when he was towing his stick behind him skating back to the bench when Montreal was regrouping. That's peak laziness/not giving a shit and it's exactly what he did on his last "shift" in Columbus.

Ville over Stan cuz pp and ability to play both sides
Samberg over Stan for PK and defensive

think maybe you gotta seriously look at moving Stanley out tho. If he's at best a 3rd pair LHD, then time to move on. Ville and Samberg both I feel have more potential and at this point can do things Stan doesn't

Like I'm serious
Those types of things are unknown around here. 2 posters can make the exact same post. One is dead serious and one is joking. I don’t spend enough time around here anymore to know which poster is or isn’t serious. Use an emoji if you are being sarcastic.

They were doing the game for our market too, I would say that Robertson and Sawyer were more 50/50 doing the game for the Ottawa market
I don’t think they care that much about catering to our market. Robertson and Sawyer need to walk a finer line.

Mudryk and Poulin should go work for SN so they can dump on us more often.

I get it neither sports networks care about this market, but they were way over the top for a preseason game and quite frankly neither is very good.

Agreed the commentating was over the top. Guess maybe I shouldn't be as hard on Sawyer, he's nowhere near the homers that those two where tonight.
I don't mind Sawyer - he's over the top with this praise of anything Jets - but he doesn't go over board when they don't get a call. I hate it when they whine.

I wasn't to high on the Gagne signing, but he looks like that calming veteran influence that could benefit both vet and younger players and it looks like he can still play

Yeah definitely should help our bottom 6. Plays a very steady game. Doesn't have the same level of offensive skill he once had but he should definitely help the bottom 6 put up some points.

Trying to think who the best players to ay him with are.

I wonder if there’s much chance of Lambert still going to the WHL. After a very good showing in Penticton he follows that up with a goal and an assist.
He would skate circles around a lot of those WHL players.

I mean he wasn't at the last WJHC just to add some perspective. There are pros and cons to both avenues. But I expect he's off to Moose camp when it opens for a look.

Its preseason and vets play accordingly, Ladd use to be the worst.

I wish preseason was at max 4 games. Very few vets take it that seriously. They are fooling around trying silly things to get their hands going while playing to avoid injury.

These games are meaningless to the standings so I don't get why so many take veteran players performances that seriously. All that matters is they are ready to play by the start of the year. I don't care how they get there.
