What for? Dobes is waiver exempt which makes him the prefect calls-up if injuries happens. If Habs put Dobes into the NHL they have to trade Primeau and then find another AHL goalies to second Hughes.

It went to shit as soon as Habs pulled Dobes. Habs couldn't get settled after Hutson didn't handle the puck well at the blue line.

Despite that, I think Habs played an honorable game. There are kids who clearly need AHL time and that's what it will be for most of them. But regardless, they played well. Dobes was without question the standout.

His game is not suited for lesser talented players.
