Dahlin will be good, he had 44pts his rookie year. Whether or not it is with BUF remains to be seen. Owen Power is interestingly enough the first 1st overall to not play in his draft year in f***in ages

His defending is closer to ECHL level than AHL though. It's a problem if he's expected to become a 1st pairing guy who logs 25+ mins against top players.

Just quick reaction watching a few shifts of Big Z...as he's my dark horse...

-seems pretty good on faceoffs
-real disruptive with his reach in the neutral and defensive zone.

No doubt he should start as the 4C.

His defending is closer to ECHL level than AHL though. It's a problem if he's expected to become a 1st pairing guy who logs 25+ mins against top players.

No doubt he needs work, but the talent is there. He doesn't have much in the way of a mentor on BUF, so I think that may hamper his defensive development. If they can get him a Veteran shut down partner to not only mentor him, but allow him to play his offensive game I think he will be a perennial Norris candidate

he definitely should start over Boyle from what I’ve seen and Sully is an idiot if he doesn’t…assuming ERod centers until Sid is back, I could see a L4 of DOC-Zohorna-Heinen…
