What kind of pass is that Kreids. That’s some rookie shit, backhand pass to the middle of the slot

lots of flubbed shots and slightly bouncy pucks. some of them are certainly trying to make plays.

We saved $3M buying out Lundqvist to give $2.425M to Georgiev instead of trading him for assets. Sick of this anger management clown.

Should have just signed Lundqvist to a 1.5m deal after the buy out. Still would have saved 1m.

This game looks like last games against the islanders and Cizikas and Clutterbuck are killing us. We look like shit

I'm fighting over the remote with people who want to watch the Yankees and with the Rangers down 3-0, I'm understandably losing.

Just watching you guys react for the moment.

Its also the first game under a brand new coach. Not sure what people were expecting.
What has troubled me during the 8 or so minutes I’ve seen have been the lack of intensity. That’s a cultural / mental thing — not a chemistry or strategic issue. If they miss a few passes, that’s one thing. An abundance of penalties and slow pace are not okay.

The team hasn't come close to scoring a goal, and that includes Kreider's breakaway.

It's 2 periods in to pre-season game 1; but for a team allegedly looking to turn the page and reinvent themselves, they're not really showing it. We don't look quicker with our transitions, we don't look 'grittier' to play against, we're not stronger on the forecheck, we're not seeing the youth and depth really put their hand up and make their claim for an opening night spot.
I zoned out for a lot of that period, but was the Krav missed connection/Goodrow wiff still our best opportunity of the game (along with CK breakaway)?

Still plenty of time obviously, and lots of players to come in/combos to try

So far im gonna take some positives out of this.
Kravtsov looks ready to break out
Hunt has been our best "outsider" and at first look id like to see him make it but who gets cut?
Fox is still a stud
Laf looks more comfortable and faster
Lundkvist hasn't stood out to me really.(i guess that was a negative)
