Elevating beer prices in stadiums is easier, actually much easier, than raising grocery prices (and we all know about the inflation and supply chain problems there) because of the captive audience. This is why I don't drink beer in the stadium and bring my own to the tailgate.

I'm going to guess that it is still the cheapest in the arena. I doubt the Foothills stuff went down in price.

I didn’t go around to confirm this, but I suspect the price gap between SB and the rest is now pretty small. I want to say the draft beers are like $10-$12. The only reason to buy SB was the 50%+ savings. Now it’s more like 25% for a much inferior product.

This is where I start bringing a cooler and chugging a couple of cheap beers in the parking lot. They’ve done to beer what movie theaters did to M&Ms and cable companies did to sports streams.

They got rid of the Food and Beverage credit for STM and that was 90% of the reason I would buy beer in the stadium. Luckily with a toddler they let you bring in all the liquids you want. High seas ahead.

Lower ticket prices, mainly.

A lot of the benefits were cut back this year. Did anyone get the annual season-opening package in the mail? I haven’t received one and assume it has been cut as well.

Seems to me they’re doing everything short of ballooning ticket prices. That will inevitably be next up.

Not really. Someone tried to get at Staal and he just gave him the "ain't got time for this" staredown. Then Lane Pederson got into a fight which was mostly dancing, one punch thrown by the TBL player, and then the linesmen jumped in for no reason at all. Only other notable violence was at the very end of the game, Coghlan turned toward the boards and got pasted face-first by Haydn Fleury.

The overall gist of the game was Canes NHL'ers globetrotting Lightning AHL'ers, Lagace somehow keeping it scoreless for half the game, and then Lagace collapsing when the Canes' better shooters started sniping him clean.

Hey I just got an email from my STM rep. He said there are indeed STM packages going out- they are just backlogged.

Also said the the cards that we normally wear as lanyards are now digital and come from the App.
